After graduating from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London, Euan Morton spent many years working in various aspects of the craft, from Profitshare Theatre to film and television. In 2002 his performance as Boy George in the West End production of the musical Taboo, a semi-autobiographical show depicting the eighties' New Romantic movement, earned him nominations at the Whatsonstage Awards and at the prestigious Laurence Olivier Awards. He also starred in the Broadway version of Taboo and won a Theatre World Award for Outstanding Debut Performer on Broadway. He was nominated for 5 more awards, including the Tony Awards.

Recently, Euan received rave reviews for playing the title role of Tony Kushner's adaptation of Brundibár at The New Victory Theatre, and won an Obie Award for starring in Measure For Pleasure at The Public Theatre. His other New York credits include the title role of the musical Caligula for the inaugural season of the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF Best Actor Award). Over the last two years Euan has been performing at sold-out concerts in New York City at The Oak Room at the Algonquin, Joe's Pub, The Zipper Theatre and Town Hall, as well as at The Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA. Euan, with LyricPartners.com, released his debut solo album, NewClear in March 2006 (see below).

Theatre

• Sondheim on Sondheim

Euan will join Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams and Leslie Kritzer for the world premiere of Sondheim on Sondheim, the new Broadway show conceived and directed by James Lapine. The Roundabout Theatre Company production will begin previews March 19th, 2010, toward an official opening April 22nd, at Studio 54.

Euan is the winner of the 2009 Bistro Award for Outstanding Vocalist for his performance at the Metropolitan Room. Congratulations Euan !

• My Dog Tulip: Euan is among the actors providing their voices for My Dog Tulip, an animated picture based on J.R. Ackerley's 1956 novel.
