The Laurence Olivier Awards were established in 1976 as The Society of West End Theatre Awards, and Lord Olivier agreed to have his name associated with them in 1984.The full list of nominees of the 27th annual Laurence Olivier Awards in association with Hilton UK and Ireland is listed below.
This year's Awards Presentation, sponsored by Hilton UK and Ireland, was held on February 14 2003 at the Lyceum theatre and televised by the BBC.
