Jo Nesbø audiobooks
Narrated by Euan Morton
Euan Morton has narrated several acclaimed works by Norwegian crime fiction master Jo Nesbø, one of the world's bestselling thriller writers whose books have sold over 60 million copies worldwide.
Wolf Hour Coming 2026
Euan Morton is currently recording the audiobook for Jo Nesbø's upcoming standalone thriller Wolf Hour, set to be released in February 2026. This is Nesbø's first novel set exclusively in the United States, following Detective Bob Oz in Minneapolis as he investigates a series of sniper killings. Meanwhile, a mysterious Norwegian crime writer travels to America to research the case, and as his investigation progresses, his seemingly neutral position reveals itself to be more complicated than initially believed.
Blood Ties (2025)
The highly anticipated sequel to The Kingdom. Brothers Carl and Roy Opgard are doing well for themselves in the small Norwegian town of Os—Carl manages the swanky spa hotel, while Roy runs a gas station and dreams of building an amusement park. But when news breaks about a new highway that will bypass the town, and the local sheriff reopens old cases with new technology, simmering tensions threaten everything they've built.
The Jealousy Man and Other Stories (2021)
A dark and thrilling short story collection featuring Euan Morton among an ensemble of narrators. The title story has been adapted into the major motion picture Killer Heat starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, and Richard Madden. From a detective with a nose for jealousy tracking a suspected murderer to a hired assassin matching wits against his greatest adversary, these inventive stories showcase Nesbø's dexterity with the dark corners of the human heart.
The Kingdom (2020)
A tense and atmospheric standalone thriller praised by Stephen King as "special in every way." Roy has never left the quiet mountain town he grew up in, unlike his little brother Carl who couldn't wait to escape his troubled past. When Carl returns with a mysterious new wife and a business opportunity that seems too good to be true, simmering tensions surface and unexplained deaths come under new scrutiny. As the body count rises, Roy's loyalty to family is tested in devastating ways.
Macbeth (2018)
A New York Times Notable Book of 2018, Jo Nesbø's Macbeth is part of the Hogarth Shakespeare series, which commissions acclaimed authors to reimagine Shakespeare's plays as novels. Set in the 1970s in a run-down, rainy industrial town, the novel centers around a police force struggling to shed an incessant drug problem. Inspector Macbeth, head of SWAT, becomes the target of manipulation by a master drug lord named Hecate. What follows is an unputdownable story of love, guilt, political ambition, and greed.
